Whenever we drove into Madison we would pass these flowers. For the past two years though, I don't think I have given a second thought to these flowers. I was walking by them the other day and realized how they have gone unnoticed to me for so long. They became somewhat of a norm that I have forgotten to appreciate. A lot of things in my life have become norms that I have forgotten to appreciate. Soon this flower bed will be empty but I hope I won't forget to appreciate the things that are always constant in my life.

Appreciating the constants
Before becoming a student here at Madison, when I thought about UW, this is what I thought of...a flower bed. No joke.
